SIT (Spinal Injuries Together) consisits of Spinal injuries Association, Spinal Reseach, The Back-Up Trust, Spinal Injuries Scotland and Aspire. It's objective is to promote the work and the services that are available to spinal cord injured people, their relatives, carers and associated professionals.
The Back-Up Trust is a national charity dedicated to providing opportunities for spinally injured and able bodied individuals to experience the buzz of outdoor activities together.
The Spinal Injuries Association is a national UK charity for spinal cord injured people and all those concerned with their well-being.
As part of their expanding outreach work SIA is establishing a Community Peer Support Service in Wales, thanks to support from the Wales Council for Voluntary Action.
Spinal Injuries Scotland is the national voluntary organisation concerned with new and long-term spinal cord injured people, their relatives and friends, along with those involved in the management, care and rehabilitation of the injury.
Spinal Research is a pioneering charity. Its aim is to find ways to repair spinal cord injury and to reverse the paralysis that results from it. Based in the UK and recognised as a leader in its field, Spinal Research funds groundbreaking projects at scientific and medical institutions around the world.

The activities of ASPIRE reach out nationwide. Our work includes purchasing specialist equipment for individuals who are paralysed; creating personal development training courses, short term housing; research into technology to benefit people with disabilities and promoting integration between disabled and non-disabled people through sport.
Spinal Injuries Action Association of Ireland was founded to promote the welfare and provide a resource facility for people who have sustained a spinal cord injury and their families.

The Disabled Living Foundation has been working as a charity in support of people with disabilities and older people for 35 years.

Spinal Injuries Ireland, was founded in 1993 to promote the welfare and provide a resource facility for people who have sustained a spinal cord injury and their families.

Situated in the grounds of the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Dún Laoghaire, SII deals with both the emotional and practical issues of the individual who has sustained the spinal injury and their family on a daily basis.
